Staffshire Bull Terrier and American Pitbull Terrier are two different breeds...related...but different.
Cavachon -- half bichon, half cavalier king Charles spaniel. (Hence the Cavachon -- biCHON plus CAVAlier spaniel = cavachon ) This cavachon looks a lot like him, so here's an idea: EDIT: cooper's a bit older, so he's a wee bit scruffier. But it's sort of embarrassing walking him... XD
My mini dachshund Petunia was out peeing the other day. I heard some very fierce barking and ran out to investigate. As I opened the door I saw her running very quickly towards me with a huge stray (I'm assuming-as it had no collar) rottweiler hot on her heels and looking as if it intended to kill her. I have to say, for such a small dog, Petunia can BOOK it. She flew up the steps and into the door, but the rottweiler didn't stop. I had to kick it very hard in the face to be able to close the door on it. And even then, it stayed outside growling and barking. Had to call animal control to come get it, but it left before they showed up. If it comes back after my dog again, it's going to meet the business end of my machete.
Thank you. i'm off to watch a movie with 'The Mother' (i'll explain later). Good morning and i'll speak again soon.
Yes, I know you weren't. I was making a general statement. Most everyone says the same thing. That I'll change my mind 'when I grow up'. It gets old is all. edit: it wasn't meant to be defensive or offensive in any way, by the way.
Oooo, thunderstorm. Though, my power flickered. No power, no wireless. And worse yet. No power, no light, no reading.
We always get them down here. I actually find them pretty calming. When I was a little kid, I would become completely paralyzed with fear and get as far away from the windows as possible.
I don't normally give in to cutsie, but this puppy appears to be in need of many kisses and raspberries on her belly from me!
I enjoy thunderstorms as well. Except when I'm home alone at night. For some reason, even now that I'm an adult, it scares me. I know it can't do anything to me, but I'm terrified nonetheless. Might have something to do with my fear of the dark. Dunno. -shrugs- Found my booklight, so even if the power goes out I may continue to read! haha. I'm obsessed:redface:
Would that I could have the day to read, and read, and read away the pages of a favorite book while tucked into a comfy nook. A cup of cocoa at my side. A blankie in which I could hide, while pages filled of fantasy did their best to transport me.
yay for sudden downpours~! i bet it'll only be in the 80s by the time i leave work today. and wow at the lightning! i've never heard thunder so loud as i hear here. though it's really bad for my coworker - she's actually been struck by lightning ETA: now that i think about it... driving with the windows down in pouring rain is annoying.... but still to hot to leave them up! oh well, big deal
Wow, I can't say that I've ever met someone who has been. Though I've met a few old crazies who say they have. Numerous times.
i was amazed too... now it's pouring like i remember! i bet i'll have to wade ankle deep to the car~ knee deep most places by the time i get home! ah, just like the old days
There was major flooding about this time in Iowa last year and I remember being creeped out when my mediaplayer at work (which was on random) chose to play When the Levee Breaks by Zeppelin and River in the Road by QotSA right after each other while coworkers and I were discussing what we were going to do if we need to evacuate the building for the floods.
yeah, there was a lot of flooding in places last year... i'm just waiting for memphis to have their earthquake. (is it memphis? one of those tenessee cities is right on a fault line) i really hope there's no huge hurricanes coming our way this year... we usually get at least a year off.
Where are you located? Judging by your name, I can make a fairly good guess, but I'd rather hear it for certain.
hahahaha~ judging by my name, you'd be sooo wrong. i'm currently located in new orleans famous for good food, festivals (i think we're at 210/year), and taking it easy. ..... *quietly* also famous for hurricane katrina and the highest murder rate in the u.s.
