    Morning all!

It's my dad's graduation from his masters degree today, so I'm going down to Derbyshire with the rest of my family to see him pick it up. An MA in Theology, Leadership and Mission. It's led to plenty of Star Wars jokes:

"Now I am the master," he says.

"Only a master of evil, Darth," I respond, tongue in cheek.

Anyhow, have a good day, people.

Why is it when I act relaxed about certain things, people assume I don't understand all these things. Besides, people who have no health issues, or children with health issues, are twice as terrified as you are. If it is no more deadly than a regular flu, only people or the parents of people with health problems need to be concerned. But you need to be extra careful anyway.

Nestles has recalled their cookie dough products in the US because of e. coli contamination.

Mexican food for breakfast? I'm pretty sure that's a sin...

    Look what you've done.
Now I'm going to have to eat salsa for breakfast; you've set off my cravings. Thanks Freshmaker. ;)

    Sorry.

I thought we had coffee cake in the break room, so I didn't pick up anything for breakfast on the way in. But it wasn't coffee cake, it was brownies. And that's too much sugar for me so early. So I opted for my leftover lunch from yesterday.

    Something sinful, evidently.

Actually, I don't really mind so long as breakfast things are implemented. Breakfast burritos, etc. are ok, of course.
But regular burritos or tacos with seasoned ground beef doesn't sound appetizing to me in the morning.
I love Spaghetti, but I wouldn't want to eat it for breakfast.

What's wrong with Mexican (or Texican) food for breakfast? Chilies are high in vitamin C, and who doesn't love a little wake-up tingle on the tongue?

Anyone for some Huevos Rancheros with some chipotle sauce? Not terribly spicy, but a delicious start to the day.

And of COURSE pizza is for breakfast. Just don't wash it down con cerveza.

    ^ Truth

Sorry, but most food considered "breakfast food" in the U.S. is garbage. I'm not saying it's not tasty or yummy and all that,
but sincerely, most of it is heart attack on a plate.

I never really eat breakfast. Perhaps an apple here and there.
On Sundays when I have my daughter we'll make pancakes, or perhaps toast and eggs. That's about it.

I add lox if I'm feeling saucy. I can take or leave the capers, though.

A toasted or grilled rye bagel with just the smoked salmon would by fine.
