    No, I have no idea who Brucio is. And I'm leaving for two reasons. I'm sick of this city, and there is a really good college a few hours outside this city that accepted me.

    Close, but not quite what Tevye sings.

    I know written lyrics do say that, but it's not what Topol sings.

    Not really when you hear it in the film. The quality of the sound kind of blends the sounds together.

    I hear it. Guess it comes from being used to prayers in Hebrew and Yiddish.

    Yes, Sinatra wanted it. If they'd hired any other directer, they probably would have cast him. But what a stroke of genius. Casting an Israeli jew to play a Russian Jew. Which is close enough, really.
