Ouch, Neha. Just... ouch. Well, I had an interesting night out last night. I went out to see a friend of a friend's jazz band at the local student union, and completely missed them (it wasn't my fault - it was a secret gig that wasn't even announced). Instead, I got to see a reggae band of about 16 people doing covers of Fleetwood Mac. From there, a group of five of us made our way to our regular haunt in town, the Parish, where I was accosted by two girls wearing Star Trek uniforms. After posing for photos (like you do, with two complete strangers), our two groups intermingled, which was interesting. After more photos with Star Trek girls (who were very interested to know I wrote SF) it was time to get off home, and I now regret not getting at least one of their numbers.
Probably a bit soon to be thinking about getting into a relationship after what happened with the girl I was seeing until two weeks back, tbh. Then again, getting phone numbers never hurts.
Saw Star Trek (or as my Trekie friend calls it: "The Fast and the Furious: James Tiberius Kirk") last night and I must say... It was magnificent. It was just a really fun and exciting movie. Highly recommended.
To be honest, I never really got into it before either. I'd of course seen episodes of it, which I mildly enjoyed (sometimes) when I understood what was going on, but this was something totally different. Even if you hated Star Trek before, this is still highly recommended.
If I ever get around to it I might get it and watch it. I usually never get around to getting new movies though... if I do I never end up watching them!
*takes Torana's hand and manages to get under a large piece of asphalt just as colored water flies their way*
*takes some of the left-over color from holi and throws at the Star Trek fans* oops I forgot, no color left-over my bad! No probs, I'll just steal some of his Edit-Ha, the polka dots reminded me of a Geography teacher we used to have who'd wear transparent kurtis and her polka dot bras would show through...lol
no kidding! it was transparent every single day....and polka dots shone through bright every single day, from Monday to Saturday....I wonder if they took a holiday on Sunday or whether it was work day fo them then too..lol Okay, I know what you're thinking.......you used to look at them? I defend myself. They WERE sort of hard to ignore. She was my fav Geo teacher though. LEft when she got pregnant. I heard she has a miscarraige though Edit-Did I manage to shoo all the boys outta here?
*long suffering sigh* Why? Oh, did you mean the miscarraige?? Yup .. But why sad, when *adds something corny that rhymes* *imagines green polka dots on an orange bra*
lol I think I'm going to go offline now cause I dont normally take pain killers so they are kind of doing odd things to me now. Have fun everyone and probably see you during the night as I will be in too much pain to sleep... ><
