    Ouch, Neha. Just... ouch.

Well, I had an interesting night out last night. I went out to see a friend of a friend's jazz band at the local student union, and completely missed them (it wasn't my fault - it was a secret gig that wasn't even announced). Instead, I got to see a reggae band of about 16 people doing covers of Fleetwood Mac.

From there, a group of five of us made our way to our regular haunt in town, the Parish, where I was accosted by two girls wearing Star Trek uniforms. After posing for photos (like you do, with two complete strangers), our two groups intermingled, which was interesting. After more photos with Star Trek girls (who were very interested to know I wrote SF) it was time to get off home, and I now regret not getting at least one of their numbers.

Probably a bit soon to be thinking about getting into a relationship after what happened with the girl I was seeing until two weeks back, tbh. Then again, getting phone numbers never hurts.

Saw Star Trek (or as my Trekie friend calls it: "The Fast and the Furious: James Tiberius Kirk") last night and I must say... It was magnificent. It was just a really fun and exciting movie.

    Highly recommended.

To be honest, I never really got into it before either. I'd of course seen episodes of it, which I mildly enjoyed (sometimes) when I understood what was going on, but this was something totally different. Even if you hated Star Trek before, this is still highly recommended.

If I ever get around to it I might get it and watch it. I usually never get around to getting new movies though... if I do I never end up watching them!

Edit-Ha, the polka dots reminded me of a Geography teacher we used to have who'd wear transparent kurtis and her polka dot bras would show through...lol

You defended Star Trek. That is an offence apparently.
