Good afternoon peoples. Reading through some of the last threads, I can safely say I'm not a people person, but really, really good at faking like I am. I find most people just flat out annoying.

Which reminds me...school starts back up here in two weeks...I'm so freaking excited to have alone time again. Ten weeks of kids bickering is enough to drive me to start going to AA meetings!

BTW, as part of my efforts to stay forcused on writing, I give myself an hour to critique per night. I'm just finishing up a project, if anyone needs a critique lemme know.

Ummm .... I'm a person and I am convinced the rest of the world is breathing entirely too much.

It would be better if Joel and I worked similar schedules instead of opposite schedules, but that's a pretty minor complaint, all things considered. I got to have birthday cake last night, and I've got cookies upstairs, so I'm happy. How are things with you? Better now that you're done with the family reunion? :p

Sorry, I'll hold my breath. *takes deep breath*

Yum, that cake is so good! We had chocolate last night. With blue frosting. And bakugan toys on top of it. My mommy makes cool cakes. :D I tried to convince her she should make my wedding cake, but I don't think it worked.

    SD - Homemade?

Tingles - You have permission to breathe. I enjoy your company. My inlaws, however, are wasting entirely too much of my oxygen. I should start charging them.

EDIT - Blue - You married well. lol

Haha I wouldn't blame you if you did. Inlaws...they're such a joy.

When I was making cookies last night, Joel's mom was handing me ingredients- "do you need baking powder or soda?" Me: "Baking soda." Joel: "Are you sure it's not baking powder?" Me: "No, it's soda." Joel's mom: "No, I think Joel's right, it is powder." hands me baking powder.

    ...

    I needed baking soda.

Nope, store bought. I'm only average at making stuff in the kitchen at best.

    Greetings, earthling. :)

Mine was homemade. And so were my cookies.

Not that I'm bragging or anything...

    Ok, I totally am.

Someone asked me for one of my cookie recipes because they liked the cookies I made for teacher appreciation day. :) No one has ever asked me for a recipe before.

    Oh wait...yes they have. Nevermind.

It was still cool that they liked my cookies.

I should make some cookies too... I have this gorgeous recipe for chocolate cookies, and... I always have to make the zucchini-bread here at home, nobody else can do it right... :p

Chocolate chip cookies are soooo goooood! She asked for my recipe for my sugar cookies and my chocolate chip cookies, but the chocolate chip one was just what it said on the package of chocolate chips. I just take the cookies out like two minutes earlier than it says, so they stay really soft.

I've never had zucchini before. I'm not even sure I know what it looks like.

Oh, and hi by the way, Lydia! I think I was in the middle of a post when you posted before...I didn't see it til now.

She won't even know what hit her...

I mean, good word choice, R-dawg!

And thanks. :) I wish there were some magical way to share them with you guys. I would make cookies all the time if I could do that!

Well, zucchini is a vegetable kinda looking like a cucumber, just bigger and fatter. Zuchhini bread is a really good cake with cinnamon in and stuff like that... you can do the same with pumpkins. :)
