Non - fic makes me happy because it will help pay for the baby's day school.

Fair enough. I remember the style it was created in. (Not sure if thats how you write everything), but it was engaging.

The one im on now is sitting on 235,000 words (yes yes, first draft, i know, i KNOW)

Best before that was around 30,000 words. If only the quality improved as much as the rambling thoughts that were written down.

You see, im just writing the story thats in my head as it is (First draft). I've already decided to split it into two books (Cut in half and take out 50k of super gunk). Already placed in the additional plot so it can be spread into two.


Sadly i may have to split it into three books cause well....i'm only 3/4 into my Book one ideal story plot idea thing.

People told me to just write it and get it onto electronic paper....i am.....the long way

When i say book i mean decent print off, peice of string and than dump it into a draw for the rest of its days

 

The trouble is, I can't think of anything that hasn't already been done in the show.

EDIT: I'm speaking of Doctor Who.

Just checked which story you reviewed for me, Speedy. It's A Different Kind of Goblin. I've been working on revising it to be ready for submitting, increasing the word-count at the same time I hope. The suggestions you made were helpful.

As for your story, I'm sure it will eventually become something you can submit.

 

Nah, I don't really like origin stories that much. I want to do something with the 8th Doctor.

Anyway, I'm going to go play some Unreal Tournament for a bit.

heh i was reading some of my reviews, and i cant believe how much of a critic i have become since joining this site (Which of course is a good thing). But yours was one of the better ones i came across at the time, so hopefully one day you can take it further.

For me i wont be submitting anything. If i ever get the ich for something cool i'll just self-publish for the fun of it. (though i'll make sure i've had half a dozen people i know edit it, though that'll be interesting in itself).
