Oh, nothing really. My client just now was an agent for homeland security (immigration). Those calls are always depressing.
If just come home (been somewhere with my dad and brother) and I should be taking a shower somewhere in the near future... How is Rumpole?
Well, I'm not doing much goping, to be honest. Just listening to some system and coming up with more ingenious ways of throwing helicopters off cliffs.
Because, for the most part, if you are an illegal alien dealing with immigration, something happened to bring you to their attention. This means that the conversation very often goes to the tune of, "Yes sir, after you have done your jail time for X crime, then we will be deporting you. Have a nice day." The person probably deserves everything that is happening, who knows, but what I do know is that I would rather not have a sneak peek into the part of someone's life. That's why.
Sorry Wrey. Xeno - lol Lydo - I'm ok. Getting a lot done and generally finding myself loosing patience with a couple of friends.
Sounds like a very difficult aspect of you job. I'm very glad the worst of mine involves someone complaining about sour milk or sale prices.
WHile not trying to sound like Hannibal Lector ... I find rude people very annoying. It's just one of those things were if you are going to consistently ignore my feelings, I will end up cuttingout out of my life. I should probably have more patience ...... /rant.
Oh yes, I hate that. A lot of people (including my sisters sometimes) think they can just say anything to me and that I won't care. I might not show it, but sometimes it can really upset me... and yeah, I try to work on my patience, not always so easy.
maybe I have standards that are too high, but I find it is rarely what people do that annoys me (I can usually deal with that) but what they fail to do. The little considerations that make us all civilized and which, if I chose to ignore, they would invariably be hurt by.
Wahey! Back online properly after getting my new carpet (and a storming football match, but mostly the carpet). Any news, folks?
