I somehow managed to start going again on mine, and I have another page so far.

 

I've been concentrating on my poetry and just editted another piece and I am submitting it to a publisher as well either tonight or tomorrow. They only accept one poem at a time, so fingers crossed I suppose.

THank you both so much. I just sent it off to necrology magazine. I didn't look to see what they pay actually, but I am just really wanting to get my poetry out there and they publish a lot of dark fiction. Let the waiting commence once more lol

 

The waiting is so hard. I read somewhere that after you send something to a publisher, you have to prepare by thinking that its your best work, and your worst work at the same time. If it comes back negative, you can say, "Of course they didn't use it! I wasn't even trying that time. Watch THIS!" And if it comes back positive, you can say, "SAFE!"

 

Well either way it turns out, you get amazing feedback that is for sure.
I've had a few publishers tell me that they love my work and my imagery and word usage is absolutely amazing, just too graphic and intense for their publication. Which is ok I spose. I'll find someone to publish those pieces eventually. Till then I'll keep trying and trying.

Trying to get horror poetry published isn't an easy thing to do...

The waiting never used to bother me. Now it does. So I am just going to pretend I've not sent anything off until such time comes that I get a reply lol helps me cope with the wait!

But I do like your thoughts on the matter and that is what is going to happen with WCP I think...

Anyways I must head off as I've had a most upsetting phone call from my friends husband. He isn't coping well at the moment with recent events and his children asking so many questions as to why mommy isn't home yet. Poor little Cherubs. Life can deal such a harsh hand at times.

I need to pee and also I should be going to bed. I have work tomrrow morning. Yup. that horrid word work. Bah. Is that interesting enough????

And my sims game crashed... again... stupid thing. I need a new vdeo and graphics card. Cause it keeps on getting stuck in a loop with the driver or soemthing. meh.

I'm doing well. I don't really want to finish this paper or go to class, but you can't win em all, right?

I'm actually getting really de-motivated about work at the moment. Can't be bothered to do any of it.

 

I have class in about two and a half hours. I want to go work out, and finish this paper, and blah, there's just not enough time in the world. I guess we're just going to end up forcing ourselves to work.

I do have finals week coming up soon though. Blah, at least this semester is almost over.

 

Groan, and to think I'm just starting a new yar, and this is just the first term, and 2 onths before the exams, with the physical training display stuff thrown into deal, and NCC.........Ad I've got y boards next year, should be working hard, have too get 95% if I want an admission in the country's best school........no pressure.....aagh.....

But there's stuff to look forward to too........the picnic, fest, treks, the trip to Egypt, and the fete......it'll be fun guess.......but studies........aagh

 

I leave for a moment, and I miss a world of info. lol

So, I'll listen for a moment, since I really don't know anyone well enough to go, "Oh yeah, totally."
