thank you....same to you........though call me a nerd, but I love exams, you know the challenge.........studying for them and how I got to finish one chapter in 15 mins and stuff, and I love giving papers, writing all I know.........and I bet we have a harder time.........we have two weeks of xams......but I love it.

 

What are you majoring in? (I think that's the way to put it)...Or. - What do you want to be later in life? lol - that's easier.

 

Wow, I hate studying. I don't mind writing papers much, but studying really gets me down for some reason. Good luck with it next year Oasis. College isn't as difficult as everyone makes it out to be. The work is harder than it was in high school, but I have an easier time doing it since they don't treat you like you're six-years-old.

 

Majoring? well currently I've got the five copulsory subjects, English, Hindi, Environmental Education, Geography and History and of the optional subjects I've got the Sciences, Physics Chem and Bio, Maths and Computer Applications.......as for the future.........I've got 95% aimed in the Boards next year, maybe more, then DPS, India's best school, and then IIT, i.e, engineering with civil, Administrative application and then IIM. after that I'd like to try my hand in doctorate, neurology, and stuff........long list actually lol.....it'll bore you..............what about ya?

 

That sounds like it's a good path to go down. I'm a Print Journalism major, so if what my teachers say is true, I'll be living in relative poverty in a few years! Hooray!

 

lol, one of my teachers was actually advising me o become a journalist.......but when I told her I'll becom an Administrative Officer, she shut right up........lol

 

That's very interesting. I've been in journalism for five years now, though I've wanted to be a pediatrician for the majority of my life.

Over here its 20:22 and I'm starting to calm down.
Can't sleep? This is gonna sound ridiculous, but count sheep. Seriously, it works.

 

I'm doing quiet well. Just roaming around, getting to whatever piece I can that really catches my eye and fancy. Anyone have a recommendation?

That's what I usually do........but rite now I AM sleepy........but I can't sleep cos I got 3 presentations to make and they areen'tt even my subjects........I'm supposed to make them for my friends, I don't know how I get myself in these situations!!

feeling old but doing ok.
we had a snow storm last night and supposed to get another tonight.
I hate the fact that winter has so little sun.
I love the snow don't mind the cold but oh I sure do miss the sun.
If I could work outside the house or still be in school it would be so much more fun.
I just signed a contract with a literary agent and sent my story to get a critique done on the story so in about 10 days I should know if I continue writing children's stories or find another hobby. Would love to sell a couple at least. Then the fun would be worth it in ways other than being fun.
All you young folks seem to be acting like old folks bored with life and the job. Not a good thing

 

I'm sorry it's cold over there. I'm sort of glad the winter is almost over. So wanting heat.

 

Sure beats being disabled chronically tired no children left at home and not able to get out and enjoy life much of the time.

I know school is the pits sometimes but hey you won't be there forever.
I loved college but hated high school.
I loved my job working with mentally challenged children and then it was all gone.
So make the most of what you have and add to it each day.

 

it's started geetting hot here........and to think just two months ago we felt like we were sleeping on ice!!
