I am ok. waiting for Don to wake up as we are going to Thunder Bay today. It isn't snowing so we hope we can get there and back before it does.
Every one here seems in fine fettle. Nice to see so many chatting.
I was a miss good two shoes at school. My father made his living selling to everyone in the area so we had to be.
The first drink I ever had was bought for me by a teacher at the hotel in town. I was 17 and under age. The teacher was an idiot if you ask me.

 

Don't worry- I'm getting there- gona do a profile ASAP- just busy cooking tea, that's all!

 

A teacher buying you a drink in a hotel? sounds wierd.

My first drink was 2litres of Lambrini and the age of elven, they a glass of cider. god that was fun.

yeah the teacher sounds it really. I had my first alcoholic drink at 12 or 13...don't remember now.

I was in the drama club and we were celebrating how well our show had gone that night. So he bought everyone a drink.
Before that I used to take the foam off my dad's ale as I brought it to him. I had been doing that since I was 6.
When I was 16 I was anemic and I had to drink a bottle of porter everyday. It was horrible and to this day I gag at the smell of beer.
But I did start drinking in college but when Don and I got married we just stopped. No reason really but we were glad we did. We both come from families with lots of alcoholics and didn't like what we grew up with and didn't want to make a mistake with the boys.

though we were on our best behaviour for a few weeks after that new years LOL never invited random passerbys in for drinks since that night!!!!!

have to shower and lay out clothes for Don.
make tea and coffee to take with us.
find the box of books that Dom wants to sell. All his role playing and magic hard covered books.
feed the cats and still have energy for the trip and the 4 hours of shopping once we arrive.
