Aye, this'll be the second (and hopefully superior) version of the game. The beginning will look familiar to the few returning players we'll have, but beyond that, almost everything plot-wise will be different.
So we can pick any of the races in your blog? Cause I got this great idea for a Sardite... *Looks at the title* Damned, another month or so...
Yup, all of the races will be available; though I recommend against Cimill and Krilind, since they're not as smart or emotionally developed enough to make deep, dynamic characters out of.
Sounds good to me and best of all it starts in January once my exams are over so I haven't gotta worry about distractions like revision (or maybe my mindset should be that RPing is a distraction... Minor details haha)
Aye, I'll be scheduling my own exams probably early January (working on a BSc from home over the Net), so once those are done and I get settled into a new semester, this'll start.
From what I've heard of the re-vamp I'll certainly be placing if anything a cameo part in the game. and I can assure you all Teele has been working very hard on the recreation of Dawn Of War.
This is the first one revamp. The first attempt kinda fell silent and died. However Teele has much more experience as an RPGer and from what I have seen has built up a very good world he's willing to share. I actually expect this to be a good running series and who knows he may even reach Rybok's Rat Pack status with this. Its a new year with new changes in the rpg forum. In with the new and out with the old. That said The very last ever Ryboks Rat Pack game will be starting in January.
Aye, I did the first when I was fairly new here, and had some wild ideas about what exactly I could get away with. Its over in the archives if you'd like to see it. For most of you, it'll be pretty much brand new, though. lol. We've had a bit of turnover since the first go, so I think there might be maybe four returning players tops. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys can do with it. And Raven, I can only hope that perhaps one day I may reach the epic scope of the Rat Pack games. Definitely looking forward to what you have in store there.
I am sooooo pumped, I've actually played dnd in Crystan with him so it will be awesome. I'll make a more emotionally rounded character (my Solan was bland). Can't wait!!
I have one more part to my Rybok's character to finish and I have found my character in Crystan that reminds me of an RPG game I played w00tw00t game tiiime
Well the way I see it, it's time to pass the torch. By that I mean in January we see the last ever Rybok's Rat Pack game and the first part in the Crystan series.
Well I've done the reading and love the detail and have found myself already working on the concept of a character. I'm been drawn towards the Iander at the moment with the consideration of him leaving his people to another race using his architectural skills to fortify other races in return for training with crystals and specially crafted weapons. He would probably be an older character. Well I have a month to work on the true details and theres definatly a wealth of information to work with already. It definatly has potential for more than one RP by the looks of it.
That was the original concept, actually; start a bit of a series that kinda ends up spanning a big part of history, filling it in a bit.
Kee was awesome and cool as well. Kee was so modest and humble. Kee was coolio. He was loud and a big fat Drama Queen. We need Drama Queens.
