Like I've explained in other threads, my current project has everybody using magic cards. People who use the cards are called cardcasters, and the ones who create them are cardcallers. Callers aren't allowed to cast any of the cards they create because people are paranoid that it would make them too powerful, so they're assigned a cardmaiden to perform all the casting related tasks for them. I'm trying to think of a name or a title for a caller who breaks the law and casts their own cards. I want it to be cool sounding and intimidating, while also giving the reader a clear idea what they're about. Kind of like Ringwraiths in Lord of the Rings. I'd also prefer it not have the word "card" in it since I already have so many things named card(whatever). Unfortunately, I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas?
Latin translations: Crime = Scelus Law breaker = lex ruptor Unlawful = illicitum I dunno. Call them ruptors. Or maybe lex.
Lies and Deception and maybeeeee Lies and Deception: Conflict Reignited. (Sounds like an anime movie duology but I honestly don't care)
This isn't a title suggestion, but to me there's too much similarity between cardcasters and cardcallers (the terms), and I can't keep them separated in my head. I would change callers to something that doesn't start with a C or end in 'ers'. Definitely not cardcrafters!!
