Same. I pretty much just got here. Shame if it dies. I’m not sure where else I’d roost (or den, I guess, being a coyote and all).
I don't even want to think about that. This is the only place I have to talk about writing with other writiers, and it's been a great place for me over the past couple of months.
I think these concerns are pretty much unwarranted (although I could be wrong). There's clearly server problems, but it's never once occurred to me that the forum may be on its way out.
Two points: 1. I think we can do without members sniping at other members (you know who you are). 2. I've posted a question about this in the Supporters Forum, and tagged @Daniel in the process, since he's really the only one who can answer.
I agree on this point - it'd only become a serious problem if members started leaving in droves or if it was down so much that it dropped the advert revenue. As I said to Iain further up my suspicion is that it's to do with server capacity - either we are too big for the current plan or the current server provider needs a kick up the arse.
