Hey thank you ... How about this line here About the mirror for some reason it reminded of the fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty and the mirror.
It is Evil because Christianity, especially medieval Catholicism hinges entirely on everybody feeling guilty about everything. What better way is there than saying everyone is evil to begin with. <- Notice the lack of a question mark. I saw in previous posts a discussion on translations. Personally I went with one that does not rhyme but maintains the most accurate translation from Italian. After a few stanza I forgot all about rhyming and appreciated the clarity of the prose instead. I can't really recommend the one I have on my shelf since it's a danish translation, but getting one which is translated in a similar fashion, yeah. Don't buy the book for some translator's ability to conjure rhymes.
Isn't that self-explanatory? Oh well, I guess not. A text that rhymes contains rhyming sentences, one that does not shows absence thereof. The blank space in my post denotes a separation of paragraphs which in turn suggests a change in subject. Thus I implied no direct correlation between the Christian concept of evil and the mechanics of rhyming.
If you can think of a better way to keep people than making them think they are sick, and you can cure them aside from excessive violence.
Are these people truly sick or is it something they are imagining? and are you saying feeling guilty is a kind of a cure?
the answer is no...*shake head* if you can't explain then it is your own fault. Don't blame me if you said something and I don't understand it.
I'm resurrecting this thread on the off chance anyone wants to talk about Dante's Comedy. Does anyone?
