Ive seen another member with lyrics of them in their signature, but any other fans around? If you havent heard them, they're REALLY good. Their songs are poetic and...amazing. Any other fans around? Whats your favorite song by them?
Death Cab's an awesome band. I really like The Ice is Getting Thinner, I Will Follow You Into the Dark, and We Looked Like Giants. I thought their last album though was kinda a let down compared toPlans[/I.
My personal favorite is Title Track, off their album "We have the Facts and We're Voting Yes". I also like Soul Meets Body and What Sarah Said, to name another great few.
All good, all good. I like practically all of their songs more or less, except for a few from You Can Play These Songs with Chords.

A friend showed me some of their songs, but I never really liked them until I experienced the band on my own accord. Although I was happy when I realized who it was.

I've never been able to completely get into them. I do have a few favorites, though. I like: I will follow you into the dark Soul Meets Body Summer Skin Passenger Seat ....and that's all I can think of off the top of my head. There's probably a few more, but meh.
I heard a few songs from them and yeah, they're an awesome band. My favorite song from them is I will Follow You Into The Dark. Anyway, I was actually planning to do a lego video of Soul Meets Body once I get the song though. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of them cause I kind of like mostly more punk rock bands. But yeah anyway, I think they rock and will continue to rock.

I really like them now, but I must admit I was slow in getting into them. My girlfriend at the time was really into them and I just didn't see the fuss but once I had heard Soul Meets Body a few times I was hooked. I suppose it's probably because I was into more heavy/punk kind of stuff then and I was a bit narrow minded when it came to music. Now I like to think I'm not haha.
They're great, I have every album on iTunes but I've never really listened to all the songs. Only the new album and the older singles ... Soul Meets Body - but there's a niggling something about the song that makes me groan whenever it comes on Grapevine Fires - how has no one mentioned this? I Will Possess Your Heart I Will Follow You Into the Dark etc. People who like DCFC should like Nada Surf (excluding a couple of their punkish songs).
I've been listening to some of the newer stuff off of NARROW STAIRS. I Will Possess Your Heart, No Sunlight, and Cath are all great.
