    I've heard there is a debate room but I cannot find it and search function doesn't seem to show it.

    You need to be a member for 90 days and have at least 100 posts before you are eligible for the debate room. This is to insure that members have actively participated in the regular forums before the privilege of the debate room is unlocked.
