This was in the wrong section - it has moved. You can't delete your account I'm afraid, no one has that power. I'm sorry to hear your mother feels this way, but to be honest, I've never particularly liked that novel either - and for that reason. I can't say I don't understand her here, but removing yourself from an internet forum because of knowing about a single book is just not rational to me. However, if it's what she wants then only you would know the best thing to do.
You can tell her to read an excerpt from it that shows great literary value if there is one. But if that doesn't work, then you can let her read anything you've created this far so she can see you like writing. If none of those work, the last resort is exposing her by finding her copies of the Fifty Shades of Gray trilogy :v: If somehow she doesn't have it, buy them, then say its hers.
Yeah, just stop using the account. Your posts will eventually pass the event horizon of Page 3 of any section in the forum and from there into the singularity...
If you want to lock yourself out, just change your password to a random string and keep no record of it. We don't delete accounts. Even for your mother.
