    How can I delete my account on Writingforums.org?

    no idea. why do you have to delete it? just leave it and forget the password if you want to leave the site.

    The only way to remove a user from the database is for the Administrator to do it manually.

    But just walking away isn't sufficiently dramatic. One must make a huge noise about leaving.

    We don't allow account deletion. The main reason is that a forum is a social setting, and deleting an account would affect threads that other members might still post in, find resourceful, or any of several other reasons.

    We almost never send out mass emails to our users - maybe once or twice per year (if at all). If you still want to unsubscribe from these, however, you can do so in your user control panel.
