Short Story Diabolus Ex

Does the title "Deus Ex" sound lame for an ominous self-writing diary? I wanted to use it for a SS I'm writing.

 

It wouldn't sound lame, but I think Deus would sound better, grammatically, at least.

 

Dues Ex Machina is just one of those phrases that just sound cool (all the words individually sound pretty good too).

So I think it would be a good name.

 

A Diabolus Ex Machina is answer to a Deus Ex Machina. However, I'm omitting the last word on purpose. I'm glad that two people are okay with the term so far. It's for a story I want to enter into the short story contest.

 

I think it sounds cool. There was a video game with that name also.
