yep Magnolia finally calmed down. we managed to avoid a blood bath, Phew. sorry drakkin I posted not knowing your char entered. just pretend Magnolia didn't see her. Your char knows magic right?
Just so ya know, Tina's power isn't magic...it's like a superpower. Ok, so who is still writing besides, Me, Exza, Drakkin and our lovely GM, Jess?
Wow lots going on yay!! I was hoping the other players would start writing again once we stepped back into the library, which I guess is now. To all players that started in the beginning, please let me know if you plan to continue writing. Now that Voldemort is gone we do have more freedom in the story. And Roxy will finally spill everything. I think some of the characters now have a bit in common too. Ps~I'll have to write tomorrow, its super late here! I just had to stay up to see what would happen next. lol
good to know, that will determine how Magnolia reacts when she sees her. guess we should wait to see how the others respond though. If they will (<_<) this is great fun.
I am still here but I dont really know where my non magic non superpowered char fits into this story right now. Seems a bit on the not needed or useful side!!
@Amelyn That's what I love about your character, that she shows that not everyone has magic and needs it. Maybe Llop can greet the two other dogs in the building...wouldn't he be a bit defensive? @Snowmantheory I understand how you feel. No one really fits in though, we are just making it work! Your character could try to dictate the situation. He does theater/drama right? Maybe that previous crazy scene he thought was all a show. Does he have any opinions on the "actresses" performance? Dialogue is key right now, but action will follow soon!
Good idea, thanks! He is pretty handy with a knife as well. Lucky for him, he just performed, so he has a knife available
magic has weaknesses as well. it is not all powerful. For one it takes time to cast ( At least for magnolia) two it can be interrupted. what she has in power she lacks in speed, it's the weakness I'm using to avoid god modding.
lol Magnolia's making all kind of friends the tension is so high I'll need to write her response carefully.
Tina is extremly happy with all the remarks Magnolia is getting. I'll type up her thoughts in a couple hours.
I'm super excited too LostHawken!! You all are amazing! And, haha, Roxy is not too pleased...good going Tina.
Jonquil stems from a line of warriors and protectors, but never has she been the one to come to the defense of others. She was the one, all others fought to shelter. The roll reversal left her a bit shell shocked.
yes I wasn't expecting such a quick change. This will certainly catch Magnolia off guard, I'll right her response now.
Magnolia has an interesting and controversial philosophy no? But It's late here so I'm going to hit the hay. Should be back tomorrow around noon, see ya guys!
I feel so bad for Roxy. But, I'm loving all of this deep stuff! I think that all this talk about hatred will play a bigger role later in the story!
Jonquil has sympathy for Roxy's plight, but Roxy owes everyone an explanation and she isn't going to let go until she gets some answers.
This is my character template. I'm using a character sheet developed using d20 Future guidelines. This tool allows me to use my character more realistically. He has quantifiable strengths and weaknesses, making RPG writing a little more interesting for me. I use a twenty sided die to determine whether or not my actions are successful; the result of the die roll added to my skill and ability modifiers will mean a pass or fail for my attempt. I'll be using this system throughout my participation in the game to make the feats more interesting. If anyone else in interested in using this style, PM me, and I will give you more details and relevant links. See you in Salem! OOh....sounds like he and Tina would get along great! Looking forward to see how you write him. I've heard of the dice/chance roll way of playing to make it a little more realistic. It's a good idea.
