I have just seen a report on the Tyne and Wear news that a Communist group named 'Anti-Racisum anti-Imperialism' was sent to court after illegally collecting money in Newcastle for their cause and group. Now, Communists actively collecting money is a bit against their ideals yes, but every Political Movement needs funds. But when they where found guilty they claimed it was 'A spit in the face of Democrasy' Does this comment seam a bit misplaced to anyone else?
In all fairness, there will be procedures that they have to go through in order to be allowed to collect funds. There usually is, its most likely that they just didn't follow them. But I must admit it's quite an oddity.
