I want him to come and find her himself, rather than have her tell him where she is. I had an idea that she managed to get a message through, which finally alerted him to her whereabouts, but that won't be until four years after the end of the war, so I'm trying to figure out why she couldn't write sooner. The reason this quest is important to him is that very few people have treated him well, and those who have, he has let down. It would be a nice end to that particular character arc to have him do everything right with someone for once.
