As a Canadian, I really like it that we were involved (even peripherally) in this incident.

Nice to know that someone is standing on guard.

I know! I was looking for, and totally ready for, the internet forum equivalent of a drunken bar-brawl. With chairs flying, half-filled whisky bottles smashed over heads, and shank-knifes and handguns being pulled to keep everyone from going crazy. I'm disappointed, I demand some e-drama! ¬.¬

Not to sound like I'm defending him, but aren't topics like this sort of...tasteless? We're basically saying we're glad he's gone rather than just moving on sans Domenic.

Again, not trying to defend him, just throwing in my opinion. :D Sorry he was an ass to you all, my lovable friends from Canada. And to everyone else.

I think you are right to be honest. But still, I was hoping I'd see some claws out all the same - even if I have to pretend like I don't like that. :D

You would likely turn into a lion. Or a sabertoothed cat. :p

But batters get three strikes and it takes three outs to an inning, and 27 sometimes...24 outs for a game. So shouldn't he have gotten like 21? 24? more tries?

Yes! That's how I always imagined your spirit animal to be.

@Lewdog - Now you've got me imagining a cat on a skateboard grinding on rails.

Just barely keeping my head above water, I'm sure you know how it can go sometimes. You once took a break yourself once.

I had a long break initially. I must've registered, maybe posted once or twice (if I did) then forgot all about it for a year or so. I then, quite coincidentally stumbled upon the site again and vaguely remembered joining. I subsequently logged in and have continued to annoy people on here since. Domenic.p got it all wrong, he was far too overtly, a pain in the arse.:D

Good to see you back, buddy. I've been thinking of doing this same thing myself actually.

Then he shall be nothing but a dim, unpleasant memory in your head. In fact... (Does Jedi mind trick) you do not remember him. He does not exist in your mind.

And if a better puts the ball in play or is hit by a pitch, the count is reset without an out. Or a dropped third strike can also reset the count without an out...

    :superthink:

... With a major league average of a 46.5 Zone% (pitches in the strike zone) and 29.3 O-Swing% (percentage of pitches out of the strike zone swung at), 62.1755% of all the pitches would be strikes. Given an average of 146 pitches per game, we should expect an average of 91 strikes per game. So we should give him 88 more tries...?

I have to chime in that I'm also uncomfortable with this sort of thing. The guy can't respond, after all. He's gone, so move on.

    And couscous. That's tasteless too.

But, I agree. It makes me feel uncomfortable talking about someone after they are gone. I always think it's best that if you don't like someone, or don't like what someone has done, have some balls and at least tell them directly.

A straight, white, male, cis-gendered wolf for your information. :p

Well, as straight as I will happily admit to anyway. Make of THAT sentence what you please.

If you're going to reincarnate, might as well do so on lowest possible difficulty
