what are people's thoughts on this? not sure if this is the place for it. can you make some money with it as I have a few of these things on e-bay etc.
Well with things like the iBook coming out, eventually they will be a profitable market. But for now, I think people still don't want to do their reading via a screen. So in a few year, I think it will be a very viable market.
Publishing an ebook is still publishing. You need to understand the market, and nearly everything else entailed in hard copy publishing. Time will tell what its role will become in the publishing industry.
the bottom line is that unknown writers still can't make anywhere near as much money with e-books, as they can with 'real' ones...
