Any opinions on which way to go? From what I've been able to find, they're both correct but I'm not sure if there's any advantage or disadvantage to either.
I'd go with empathetic, as it makes an action/person embody empathy. While Empathic seems to be a sort heightened empathy. I could be wrong here though. Edited. Thanks mia.
'emphatic' means something else entirely, but i'm assuming that was just a typo, sid... jon... they're interchangable, so use whichever one feels right to you... if it's in dialog, make the choice fit the character...
