there's a lot of sites for this sort of thing - notably the reviews section on amazon/goodreads.

We don't mind a few posts about a given book as a thread in the book discussion forum (vis for example wreys dissection of lord fouls bane which is in their somewhere) but there comes a point when you're kind of beating a dead horse and it starts to look a bit unpleasant

Likewise with blogs if you want to write a blog post about a certain book then that's fair enough... but we aren't going to entertain a blog with numerous posts dedicated to ragging on a single publication... if you want to start a blog dedicated to the dissection of books you'd be better off on wordpress/blogger or youtube or wherever

For those thinking "why the ... not?" there are two reasons

a) we'd really rather not get sued by an unhappy author - the site has no significant budget for legal defense so a suit could kill us even if we eventually won

b) from an ethical point of view the site exists to help authors... would you be happy if this was your book being taken apart ?
