Hi everyone. Has anyone ever entered a writing competition not on here? As in, a national one, or a magazine one, or a recognised award one? If you have, how did it go?? Thanks xx
I haven't personally entered any, but I can tell you about someone who did. It was a short story contest, and he placed in the top 5. I don't remember the name of the contest at the moment. It must have been an important contest though because the winner got $2000!
From what I've been reading the past few days, there are oodles of competitions out there. I am thinking of maybe entering the Self-Publishing awards as it's basically for people who have done-it-themselves.
