Hey Mouse, sorry about my post. Kami doesn't realize that Dirk already knows Ivan, but she was slightly put off by her just taking over. Hope I left you room to play along with that, and I apologize for taking over your character for a sec. Hope the dialogue was ok.
The dialogue is fine. I think Ivan's more likely to be angry than surprised, but I can handle her thought process in my reply. And I like Kami's power. I can't post right now because I'm about to head out, (I'll be back in an hour or two,) but if Earphone wants to write one for Dirk, I'm fine with that. Ivan would probably just give Kami a really dirty look --like an "I'm gonna beat that pretty face of yours into a pulp" look-- but she won't actually do anything... yet.
Someone post....post post post!!! The suspense is killing me. I am very curious to see what is going to happen with Marty and Chyenne.
I'll post tonight, promise. I have midterms today, and I'll be away from my computer for all of that time. (I'm posting from school.)
I'm in a similar situation. Midterm exams give me limited time on the internet, so forgive me if I'm a little slow to post this week.

Posted. I can already see Ivan and Kami are going to be BFFs. And sorry for slightly controlling Dirk, Earphone. I'll gladly edit/remove that line if you don't think it fits his character.
I suppose I should offer an explanation about Cheyenne's ability. Think of her whole body like an omni-directional speaker. The "gelatinous" air that covers her body when she "speaks" is composed of sound waves. I'll explain it better in-story, and go more in depth about what she's capable of, I just didn't want any mis-interpretation.
Phew, finally got my post up!! Sorry for the wait LTW and Blizzard, I've been way busier this week than expected. It's up to you guys where we should go next. Avery was just being practical. haha Good luck to you all on Mid-terms. I can't wait for the school year to be done with too.
So...maybe Rebecca could suggest taking Adeliade and Avery to her apartment...but i'm afraid of getting stuck there. We could begin the walk to her house (which is a block away from Mac's Fish and Chips) and then bump into someone else. Anybody have any suggestions?
I've been thinking of what could happen, so here's some of my random thoughts... ~ When I read this, I thought, that's Joe! What a clever way to literally "run" into him. The girls would have passed him a few blocks back, but if he's as curious as a cat really is, he could have checked out the scene. It depends on what Mr. Mr. would want to do, but it's a funny thing to keep in mind. ~If the grey suit is smart, he probably would tell his buddies to keep a look-out for a group of three girls. Still it could be a wild-goose chase for them, but our characters are pretty unique together. Who else in Coventry has dreads? lol We could have to part ways at some point, or break off into two and one. That one character bumping into someone else. ~Hmm...we could also head to one of the girls' home/apartment. Something could happen there, or they could just "practice" their abilities. It's really whatever you all are up for. I'm sure we can beat around the bush a bit before the enemy strikes harder.
Sorry about the delay guys, I've been fighting off the flu for the last couple days. Been pretty much useless. I'll try to get a post up tonight.
I'm sorry that I haven't posted in such a while as I was waiting for the rest of the story with Avery, Adelaide and Rebecca to pick up. Plus I was pretty busy with tests across the week. I think it's a good idea to go to Rebecca's apartment but it is up to all three of us. And WOW, I didn't think you would realize the little hint Jess! Nice eyes. xD
By MrMr Talked to MrMr, so that idea isn't gonna work out though it was good. So i'm gonna guess it's around 4:00 in the afternoon. I'll have Rebecca take the girls to her apartment, we'll learn a bit more about eachother, then when it's time to get out of there (or the girls have to go home) I think Rebecca will feel the responisibilty to walk them both home so something interesting could happen there.
Alright gang, good ideas. Keep talking here, and brainstorming. I know most of you are busy at the mo, so let's plan out our future moves. I'm hoping to prevent a lot of milling around, so I'm going to start leading Ivanna and Kami toward the super secret BASE! But before that, I'm going to invest some posts having Dirk searching for Cheyenne. (And Marty.) If Mjolnir (Get better soon!) wants to lead them on a goose chase around town, that would give others a chance to "run" into Dirk, and be brought to the base. (They wouldn't stay there for longer than a decent explanation of events, and a cup of joe, but they'd know the location for future reference/visit.) As having knowledge of the base will make them bigger targets to the grey-suits, those that go there will be made involuntary honorary members of the organization. When we get to the base, I will post templates for all the NPCs there, so ya'll can interact with them, and know what they look like. (I might also post their powers, so the characters can chat, and share ability stories, but then again I might not. I'll see...)
^ This just made my day. Also, I think you should post their abilitiies, if you decide to post templates for the NPCs, Earphone. Knowing the other characters' abilities makes it easier (and faster) to come up with interesting ideas for how they can work together.
Oh, that's okay. I like the suspense of Joe being in Cody's house much better, can't wait to see what happens (and Cody's reaction)! lol Like your post, LTW! Rebecca's apartment seems so cozy. Will try to get a post up soon.
Yeah I'm definitely excited to see what happens with Joe now, hopefully things won't get too violent haha
Okay, got my post up, such as it is. Brain still isn't functioning fully. I'll try to make up for it in my next one. I like the idea of Dirk chasing Marty all over town, although Marty won't like so much. Lol. One question, how does Dirk intend to track him down. It would help to know so we can make the chase more cohesive. Also, loved the line about ghost hunting. Great little cliff-hanger there.
Trace has the ability to locate people. Dirk will have him on the phone as he pursues Cheyenne and Marty.
Got a post up finally! lol Can't believe how busy I've been... Anyway, thought it would be a good time for some of Avery's back-story. Maybe some other characters will start opening up too.
Still waiting on Mr Mr or Cyberdark to continue our part in the story. The possible conflict should be fun.
