TRYING (!!!) to read Eric Flint's "Ring of Fire" series.......it's soooo many books!!!!!
Check out BBC Earth's Frozen Planet series, esipode #6 - they talk about a northern European tribe of Arctic people, the Dolmen. Discussion of their diet, hunting techniques, nomadic tendencies, and family relationships.

They are totally dependent for food on animals as they can't grow any crops, and they use seal blubber as fuel.

In the Winnipeg Free Press newspaper, there was discussion about the world's most remote post office, in Antarctica, Port Lockroy or "the Penguin Post Office."

The article is titled, "Help Wanted: Penguin Counting Ability Required" by Sydney Page.

It was interesting the lack of running water, internet and cell service.....in 2022???? Staff are dependent on passing ships for showers and laundry.....
