I have two of the top of my head, both from the same poem I wrote for my girlfriend.

After The Strike that razed global civilization to the ground, the people turned to Truman Baker, then called him a communist dictator and slayer of liberty and democracy. His response, as he stood in the rubble:

Socialist democracy, democratic republics, federal republics, federations, facism, capitalist imperialism, military states, police states, monarchies… Liberty? Anarchy!
Here’s our liberty! Here… are the results of our commercialism, capitalism... competition? Corruption makes for some truly spectacular ruins, though, doesn’t it - Egypt, Rome, Maya, Azteca… now us? None of it fell because of any disaster. It fell from corruption.
My duty is to serve The Dignity Law absolutely, and so my administration will be absolute. I am your Tyrant, not a dictator. You created a Constitutional Tyranny, the Unified State of America. Welcome to The New Tyranny."

I was reading Caesar's book on the war with Carthage and he kept mentioning how somebody or other (my classical history is really weak, sorry) was elected Tyrant for another year, based on the continuing threat Hannibal was posing.

 

He wanted a freak! He wanted something different; something more captivating than, as he later put it, the “banality of everyday beauty!”

Coming from a Bishop, that quote sounds a little disturbing

 

This is going to make no sense since it's entirely out of context but:

"Mhmmmmm"

I suppose this is mine, which I have since removed since it made no sense. However, it turned out the scene was just so hilarious I kept it and it has since become a running in-house joke with my friends who have had the opportunity to read the passage. Anyway, the main reason why I found it my favourite it is because it made no sense (on a story or character point of view) and it marked the end of a tense scene with the character suddenly exclaiming "Mhmmmm!" before leaving.

 

I think I put this on another thread, from a theologian who preferred the company of non-theologians:
