No. Don't knock my beer. Or.... Well, I won't actually do anything since you're a mod. Except get all put out, maybe a little grumpy.

I meant it affectionately, like the Foster cans that gave Oilcan Boyd his name.

Had to leave to get the dishwasher started. But now the dishwasher is back at the computer :)

    Hmmmm.... Ok.

Except beer is only acceptable from a stubbie - or glass - lol. I hate it from a can. :p

I prefer glass too, but I make an occasional exception for those big cans. There's something about just holding a frost-covered can and tossing it back. Those first few gulps go down so nicely, and that spreading chill!

Oh, if you can drink it fast enough, it's not too bad - but if you're nursing one for more than about ten minutes, it gets flat - then I can't drink it.

Agreed, but I also have beer goblets I keep in the freezer, and also have a gew covered steins that I also pre-chill. Not that I ever let it get warm or flat anyway.

I make an exception for Guinness Stout. That actually tastes best just below room temperature. Too cold, and all that comes through is the bitter character.

I've never tried Guiness - always wanted to, though - I tend to think I wouldn't like it because I don't like stouts as much as lagers and such - but I'd still like to try it. :)

Had to google it, wasn't familar with either. The mixed drink has Blue Curacao as an ingredient, and also is apparently garnished with an orange slice

Okay, I will have to try that one out...but I still love my Blue Moon beer. I was hooked last year..a bar tender in South Jersey recommended it to me and I love it.

    Thanks Cog!

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat Ale makes a nice change of pace. It's the only fruited brew I'll touch.
