Hey Honor, how long are you planing for this RPG to run? I know it will depend on how quickly everyone plays but can you give an idea as to how many missions, stages, or chapters you are planning?
Oh good, you can help bail me out. I think I remember that the lead offensive guy is called the 'forward' right? If my guy is a hotshot should he play forward?
As of right now... I have no clue. There's only going to be a single goal, but it will be divided into a handful of parts. Really its going to last as long as it takes. And I'm not sure how long that will be. (Especially since I'm not done with the plot...) But as of right now, I'm maybe half way through, and that would give it about six chapters total. In between those chapters are times for more characters development and rest.

... That's embarrassing... Honestly, I didn't know people could post questions... I didn't get a little message about it either... So to answer your question, Origins are something vague. It's not like destiny. It's more like an attribute of an element. Think about it like this, why is water wet? Because that's the way it is. Why does candy taste good? Because that's the way it is. Why is that the way those things are? Because those are attributes of those substances. The Origin is like that. Its the origin of the soul. It's the main aspect of that soul. Its what makes that soul what it is. It doesn't have to relate to that person's life, although it often does. For instance, a person with a origin like "Put out fires" or "Save innocent lives" is more likely to be a firefighter than a person with an origin like "Kill the innocent" or "Set things on fire" Of course, people aren't bound by these origins. A person with an origin like "Kill small animals" can still have lots of pet mice and work as a veterinarian. What a person does in life is determined solely by their selves. No such thing as destiny. A person can't change their soul though. The origin will always be the same. It affects people, but it doesn't have control over them. So even if a person is a fire fighter, they may have an origin that causes their power to be something like spontaneous combustion. The origin isn't some all mighty god chosen destiny for someone. It's just an attribute randomly given to someone at birth. But as I said, it does influence a person. But with another force of will, it can be overcome. As for the laws of physics, they mostly apply. Of course, sense I've added the substance Aether and added the ability to manifest ones will, they aren't absolute. For instance, normally, you could normally create a fire that only burns living things, but it can be done by excluding them from the oxidation reactions through the force of ones will. That help everyone? And Hawken, you should take a lesson from FM. She hardly gave any hints at all.
Umm... While there's technically nothing wrong with it, and I'm not going to punish you or anything for it... That was sort of lame, Zigg. The mugging was sorta random, the target was random (who mugs a big muscle guy?), the location was weird (The middle of the street?), your descriptive writing isn't great (Kaz was knocked to the floor. Then it happened. Etc.), and you basically told everyone exactly what your power is (Not to mention the randomness of random acid in a random pipe) So while I'm not going to punish you or make you change it, please try to put more effort into your posts. This is the WRITING forums for a reason. The focus is writing. Practicing it, improving it, and sharing it.
