Yay! PS: Caleb is in Coles mind trying to keep him calm, so your gunna have to tell Caleb taht your picking up Cole
Hey, sorry I haven't posted much, but I've been very busy job-hunting. I'll try to get something in, but I'm not sure just what Sam should/would do in this situation. Also, and I know I'm nitpicking here, scabs aren't tissue death. They're external blood clots.
But the blood is dead right? Scabs aren't alive right? And the flesh immediately underneath is dead right?
Aww man, Caleb left Cole's mind just before I had some fun with him. Is the residential district on the way out of town? I know Cole can't vote, but I do suggest getting out of town ASAP. As to Sam, I've got a question about his power. is he generating things or moving them? i.e. is he limited to drawing things that actually exist somewhere?
I was just thinking residential district = emotional family **** 4 the characetrs = AMBUSH FOR WALKING YOUR STUPID ASS INTO THE ONE PLACE THE ENEMY WOULD EXPECT YOU TO GO. just a thought
I was using scab's more metaphorically, to say ot looked 'scabby' and scaley. The superficial skin may be dying, but there is a lot going on beneath the surface. And I think technically you are right, except that the skin immediately underneath doesn't HAVE to be dead.
You know, you guys don't HAVE to go to the residential district. I'd like you to, but you can just head north or south and avoid it. Of course, that would mean following the river, which as you now know, can be dangerous. Or you can go back the way you came, wasting time and going back into the bad guy head quarters.
Hey I'm back, working on another presentation, but I'm around. Good points Honor, I'll vote residential, and so will Cole when he wakes up. Which should be shortly.
Oh, Lebby, you can have Susanna bandage (not magic heal) your hand by the way. You guys can use her for whatever. She's not very important most of the time. Where's Flamingo by the way? Haven't seen him for a while. Oh, and you guys can decide whether or not your families are alive/injured/dead or not. Except for Gage. I have plans for him. Same with Sam's D&D buddies. They have further uses. So anyone that's not dead or alive, but is missing, I'll be glad to bring them into the scene after next. Also, you guys can describe getting in the van and stuff along with driving towards the residential district. But don't actually go in to the residential district. Its destruction is drastically different from the other areas.
other plans for Gage? Actually I was half contemplating pming you and suggesting some sort of further plot for Gage but obviously that is now irrevelevent
I am creating new objects, but the quality of the object is directly tied to the quality of the drawing. Also, the object retains properties of the media it was drawn with. That box he drew in pencil earlier can be erased right into. There are a other limitations, but those are the big ones. And Honor, addressing your earlier concern, I think that with fairly small and simple machines like guns a simpler drawing may or may not be functional (it depends) but if you were to crack it open, you would find just a solid mass, and it would remain broken even when re-closed. A high-quality drawing would have all the necessary parts, because after all you can't make a really good drawing without a model and/or decent understanding of how it works. Larger and more complex machines, however, have too many variables and cannot be drawn functional, unless they are drawn part-by-part and manually assembled. Does that make sense?
well they were only the vague ideas of thoughts not fully formed thoughts but if they become more formed I'll pm you
Ok we go to the residential district, but don't enter it without your go. Ps: Dustin, can Sam draw guns that work, or is what your saying that Sam can't because he doesn't have quality pencils at the moment.
Theoretically, I think he can. However, for high-quality weaponry he would need 1. good pencils (as you noticed), 2. a model (it's hard to draw anything very well without a model, and Sam has little knowledge of gun appearances), and 3. lots and lots of time. This is of course contingent on Honorius's approval of my latest addendum to the rules of Sam's powers.
