It's all fine. I've been neglecting it some myself, to be honest. Job hunting really cuts into my time, and when I'm budgeting time I go for the more interesting game. Which is yours. On the good side, though, I have been hired by the census bureau. Unfortunately, the job doesn't start until the 8th, so I will be finding temp work in the meantime. Yes it's a Roanoke reference, but there's more to it than that. Ask Sam about it if you are (or your character is) curious, and I'll have him explain it.
I can't help but think that this story is going to end tragically. In other words, one of you two is going to die horribly. Either that or another character will die (Gage, someone related to Caleb, or perhaps one of the main party) in order to keep you two together.

I guess it depends on the level of romance, and how much I like them. It's a fight to the death between an urge to kill people and leave you with a tragic death, and an urge to have a romantic, happy ending.
Make it at least bittersweet. The happy couple survives, but others aren't so lucky. I dunno, it's your RPG. You run it how you like.
