Where is everyone? I was waiting for some more posts before jumping into the attack, that and I was waiting for a brilliant idea that wouldn't get Cole fried... The way I see it, Chalybs, Addi's robot and Sarah should be able to 'tank' for us...
Ok, I need your help guys. Someone needs to volunteer for launching an attack at The King. He's about to blow Caleb's head off, so some one will need to stop him before he gets a chance. At that point, some real action ought to ensue. So someone volunteer, (I don't recommend Cole, he's already targeted.) and I'll post King with him getting struck at. Or I can have one of my guys do it.
I should have time to send Sarah in in the morning if someone doesn't beat me to it, and I wouldn't be offended if they did.
Addi will Addi will bring in the robot by the way, you said the fire burns only through living things, so do Addi's robots/electronics count? Because technically speaking they wouldn't actually be "alive" in the true sense of the word, but when she controls something, she is controlling it's "life force" or sorts.... edit: oops I accidentally clicked post before I finished writing my entire reply-I'll finish it in a little bit after I get back
Well, the way I see it, the robot isn't truly alive. It appears to be alive, but is just the same as someone resurrecting a zombie or skeleton. The Zombie isn't alive, but it does have the ability to move as if alive, and is being feed by a life force. So the robot can't be killed by the fire, but it would likely hurt (although not kill) Addi, just as the blood did. (Sorry for comparing your robot to a necromantic being of darkness)
Sarah, in position for the rebound attack, but I want to see what the King's reaction to the robot is going to be
I really didn't mean to leave you guys hanging. Just got stuck with some residual (well, its more like an after shock) trouble from back when we had to take a break. Post up as fast as I can type.
Sorry I've been absent; I've been having trouble getting a feel for Sam's character lately. I quite honestly haven't been sure what he would do in this situation. I'm still not sure, but I feel I should say something here at least.
Well, I would love to help you out, but it's totally impossible. (for me at least) You see, I have never had a knack for absurdism I'm not even great at comedy. And being totally absurd has always been the focal point of your characters. Since I don't do absurd, I can't really help you there.
Im not sure, but with me thinking about Sams character, I think his role in the fight with the King would be sort of a support. Him supprting his friends, rather then visciously attacking the King, that seems more his character Sorry just my opinion. Oh and on a side note, Caleb has just done something really bad, and now he's using his power in the most complicated, imaginative, and odd way possible... I have a plan for quite a weird way of dealing with the King. Although I want everyone to post first so Im not hogging the battle EDIT: OH! I just had a great idea for the whole Sam thing! You know at the beggining when hes playing his roleplaying board game with his friends, and he does that battle against that thing (shut up) what if Sam sorta somehow imagines or uses his power, to make the whole fight with the King, seem like the battle in his game at the beggining? Liek he draws the dungeon or whatever, so hes more comfortable facing the king, who looks like a dragon, and he's wearing armour You get what I mean? Once again just a suggestion
Quick explanation, did you just conjure rose up? Or did you just make an illusion of her? (Mention of Victor makes me think illusion, but the speaking with her sounds like it could be just Caleb, or saying that its really her)
Using the Kings memory, he created a Rose thats more real than just an illusion. A Rose that knows the King back to front, and vice versa, coz she's built from his mind. And CAleb did it because he was afraid an illusion created by Victor wouldn't be real enough, and he wanted Victor fighting, rather than helping him (Oh and because he just released Chaos and didn't want anyone to see SHHHHH )
Okay, that's fine. (Rose returns! What will Alex do now? He's say's he's moved on, but does he still have feelings for her? Next time on days of our apocalypses.)
Your call Honor as to whether Slurps gets fried, or the King actually falls through the hole in the floor that Sarah made when she golemized it.
Well, that's not really at all what I had imagined Rose would act like (Always thought of her practically incapable of hate.), but that will go to set the King off.
hold hold hold hold hold. hold on. Every time I look at that, it just feels wrong to write about. It's fine by me if you don't want to change it, Lebby, but I ought to give some back ground. First, The King grew up as a bit of a monster. Father was a war hero, but the war messed him up pretty bad. Became an alcoholic along with a wife and child beater. The mother essentially followed suit. The King grew up tough, got in a lot of fights. Long story short, he had killed more than one person by the time he got out of high school. He had managed to escape jail through his smarts. But all the same, he got hurt pretty bad during a shooting. Rose was his nurse. Rose is essentially an angel. She didn't care what The King had done, only who he was deep down. She didn't get angry with him, only sad or disappointed at worst. She encouraged him to be better, solid, loving, reinforcement.
