I'm working on an erotic (Level 4, full-on with kink) piece which involves a certain celebrity domestic goddess and one of her friends who is a well-known recording artist. I'm not sure if this forum has a specific policy on that sort of thing, I know that it's legal to publish erotic parodies, but I don't want to run afoul of any local rules by posting in the workshop. So, sex story involving a couple of celebs okay, or no? It's a management decision that I promise I won't debate.
In realms of fanfiction, that's called an RPF - Real People Fiction. It's the norm in fan fiction based on musical bands (K-Pop bands are hugely popular in fic) where there are no fictional characters the band members are playing, but also in fic based on film or TV franchises; thus, there are Frodo/Sam fics and there are also Elijah Wood/Sean Astin fics. Properly tagged and announced, I have zero problems with this. Now back to my Amos Burton/James Holden a\b/o story...
