D= And I was hoping for some gloating tomorrow. Now it's going to get rubbed in my face. I don't even like the patriots, I just dislike the giants more xD
This is me being bored: =| This is me thinking about football: =| There is a pattern here. Try and identify it. (I do have to admit, I was thinking Patriots were gonna win up until tonight.) Halftime show was pretty awesome though...I liked seeing Tom Petty and his 1,001 guitars. =P
It's not right but, I'm definetley rubbing it in all the Pat fans' faces. Mwhahahaha. Oh, and Tom Petty+Halftime Show=Super Lame... sorry to say that, but Petty is boring.
I'm not a Patriot's fan, so don't rub it in my face xD I just wanted Giants to lose 'cause they kicked out Dallas.
Being a Cowboys fan myself, I was very dissapointed as well. But, it's alot better to say the Cowboys lost to the winning team then the second placers if ya know what I mean. Plus, I always root for the underdogs so that when the win its all that much sweeter.
The Giants are my favorite team, so I'm pretty happy. It's been a long time since 1990. I am happy to see Eli Manning turning into a real quarterback. I've always said that I think New York made a mistake in trading Philip Rivers for Manning, but I'm finally starting to think otherwise. I am really surprised at how poorly New England played. Tom Brady looked like he had no faith in himself out there, and that really showed. He was sacked, what, four or five times? They didn't seem like the 2007 New England Patriots out there at all. If the team that really went 18 - 0 was out there, in full spirit, then New York would have been crushed.
/palmface raven. lol. I was going for the giants- simply because I liked their name. I know nothing about american football.
Brady had a busted up shoulder and a high ankle sprain, he was not nearly 100% (if you couldn't tell his passes were off the mark extremely often), and the front line wasn't doing **** to help him out. It was a piss poor performance, and they didn't deserve to win. That being said, I crawled up into the fetal position and cried at the end of the game.
Actually, it was a well-played game. The Giants defense were consistently able to break through the Patriots guards and either sack Brady, or reach him before he could pass effectively. In the last two minutes of game time, Brady was having difficulty throwing on target, or the outcome might still have been a Pattriots win. Eli's Houdini act slipping out of that tackle turned the tide, and so did the completed pass in the last minutes of the game that led a couple plays later to the last touchdown of the game. The Giants effectively attacked the Patriot's strengths. They earned the win, as much as I hated to see it.
