I just saw Motorhead, Heaven and Hell, and Judas Priest in concert. I missed Testament, but still it was one good show. I'm hoping to see Metallic when they come here in Phoenix as well. Anyone else recently been to a concert or planing to see one?
I don't have any near future plans to see a concert. The last major concert I went to was They Might Be Giants. I have to say, it was the best show I've ever been to. They rock my socks. With awesomeness.
Today I went to the Minnesota State Fair, saw a truly amazing New Orleans/rock type band led by a guy named Trombone Shorty. I plan to check out their albums on the innernats (I love being able to do that). Recently I also went to a free Flogging Molly concert (no, seriously, really) and it rocked. There was also a great starter band called Scythian which was truly AWESOME...but only live, it turns out. Their CDs were just mediocre, while seeing them live was AWESOME. (Although I believe I said that.)
Im seeing Thrice on monday hopefully. Im seeing Bliss N Eso later in the year as well as Carpathian and some Aussie hardcore. I might go watch Dragonforce in October. All will be revealed.
my garage punk band played our last show on the 22nd. The bands we played with were all wicked and we had a super sweaty set and everyone took their clothes off. it was radical.
I just saw Disturbed a few days ago (who played at Perth a few days before that so ) Was good - never saw them live before Coming up concerts i have tickets for - Testament, Slipknot (with machine Head which is cool), Carcass (im ganna blow by pants off when i see them, im so excited) and Opeth and just brough tickets to seether like not long ago. Then recovery time. Edit - did i just say "Like" ...darn!
