    Congratulations!

I'm now going to ask a really daft question and ask whereabouts? Going on your avatar pic whatsit, I'm going to hazard a guess at you being a Geordie, so if you're going to Northumbria our paths may cross.

Congrats. I hope you enjoy it. :)
Also, like Dante, I want to know which university purely out of curiosity. :p

I was going on the Angel of the North and guessing you were from Newcastle or the surrounding regions. And Northumbria is where I am, therefore it's my first guess :p

It's a good uni to be at for writers. We have a Writers' Society which meets on Wednesdays for a social (the more the merrier - if you can't find information about us just send me a PM and I'll be able to send you meeting dates and what have you, if you're interested) and Thursdays for a workshop session. Every writer brings something different to the table and all ages and backgrounds are more than welcome. Last year we had Spanish, African and American writers as part of the society, and we had aged from 19 to 40-odd involved at various stages.

Just a warning about it if you do come along: we're all a bit mad.
