Google Hijack- Any Computer Experts in here?

Discussion in 'Writing Software and Hardware' started by Unit7, Jul 9, 2010.

After I restored my computer to a previous point in time, I tried googling something and it would redirect me. I ran AVG and Malwarebytes Antimalware, Spybot: S&D I even downloaded PC Tools. Some picked up on things, but no matter what they never solved my problem.

Not all of my google searches are redirected. But its annoying when they do.

I am really sick of this crap and I need help.

Can anyone help me fix this? :(

There are probably pc forums more able to help. My expertise does not extend past doing formats for almost every pc problem I have encountered. Good luck.

Chances are you have some malware not detected by those tools. Clear your Internet cache, remove any recent browser plugins, and if that doesn't work, take it to a good tech shop for a thorough cleansing.

Pallas is right. You are much better off consulting a tech forum for this.
