Okay, quite often when I try to navigate somewhere (mainly the Lounge), it won't load. The banner and a couple other things below will, but not the thread I'm trying to access. Does this happen to anyone else? I suppose it could be my computer, but I don't think so because it never happens on any other sites I go to. Usually I have to refresh is several times before it works, and sometimes it won't work at all. Is there, like...some special thing you have to do? It can be really irritating.
It has happened to me quite a few times. Sometimes it is due to general network congestion, sometimes it's probably that the server is overloaded. Each page contains quite a bit of content, and it's not all sent as a single packet of data.
Yeah. It seems to happen when the forum is at its busiest, so I just assumed it was a server thing. Usually I refresh and it's ok.
I hadn't noticed this, but it did happen to me today. How recently has this been happening? Just recently or for a while now?
I've had it since I started (about a week, I guess). It's not usually that bad, but sometimes when the page won't load at all even when you refresh it, it gets frustrating.
Well the main thing is that the site is still here and we can still get on and post! If the site went bubeyes I think that I'd cry! lol And for the record it has only happened to me the last two days. I thought it was issues with my connection to be honest. But it isn't. I'm not bothered by it though.
It's been out all day. Sorry. I've been gone all day and I only now logged in so I wasn't aware of the issue.
I was suffering withdrawl symptoms spider, WITHDRAWL SYMPTOMS! Imagine me running around the street burning innocent hats and walking on my index fingers! Horror... oh well at least she's up now. YEY!
This is the second time in two days the site has gone down now. I hope that the problem can be sorted out. And lordofhats your mind is most frightening at times. It's wonderful lol
Two days? Really? hmmm... I wasn't aware it went down more than once recently. A few times the server has restarted but in that case it's never been down for more than a minute. Regardless, the issue was something on my host's end that I couldn't really control. They say it should be resolved (I have my doubts). If this keeps up we may have to upgrade servers and change hosts.
It did happen late yesterday as well for me. Not quite as long though. I was a little worried today when it was down again. Hopefully the problem is sorted out. And if not I hope that the move doesn't hit your pocket too much.
When it happened before, it wasn't for that long. Only an hour or so, for me. And I know what you mean with withdrawal symptoms, lordofhats...
This happens quite a bit for me, the half loading. I take it as a sign to get off my butt and go do something. Like clean stuff.
The half loading and not loading is getting a little worse for me though. Sometimes it does take around 8 times to get into a page.
