Happy Anniversary

It's been one year since a certain wolf who we all know and love (and miss- where is he?) pulled me to this site from another site.

I have a question for those of you who have been around the WF a few times:

What's keeping you here?​

Personally, I like that this is an overall constructive and productive site that nurtures writers honestly yet without stepping on the toes of the dedicated. This site is one of those who separate the dedicated and inspired from the "wanna be"s and lazy.

If nothing else, this site has reminded me that Writing is useless to you unless it's a passion.

Thanks to all of you members who have helped me and taught me in your own ways because it takes a village to nurture a writer.

I'm afraid I haven't made it a year yet.

 

What is keeping me here is the great advice on writing.
And the friendly friendly members.
Wait this isn't my anniversary.
All well I have been here for nearly 3 years now.

 

Not unless a year and a half is "nearly three years."

 

Almost 3 years. tee hee.

 

I've been here for a full year I believe. I stay here because of the active poetry section who seems to tolerate my drooling on paper I call poetry.

 

Time is no object, commitment is

 

I haven't been here for quite a year yet, but what keeps me here is the people. People here are honest in they're reviews and seem to actually want to help you get better. Also, a lot of you are just interesting to talk to.

 

just what keeps me going to any of the several sites i check on daily... the fact that some folks need help/info/advice i'm able to supply... that said, this is the very nicest and best run of all the sites i've posted on over the years...

which is why i've been here since shortly after it began, having been started by some of the best folks who escaped from a site that we all used to post on, that went sadly downhill...

btw, i have been here 'nearly 3 years' now, and i'll stick around as long as y'all will have me, as long as the good guys are still running things...

 

I've been here for a long time now and have seen a lot of members come from that other forum. THey'd come when it would die, and then some would stay, others would leave. I'd like to say we have got some wonderful members from the other forum though and glad that forum used to have so many problems for us to get so many great members from there.
