I've been trying to track down a song for the better part of two decades, and it just occurred to me that I haven't asked here yet. Chances are slim, but I might as well give it a shot. - It's a metal or hard rock song that uses an idling Harley Davidson for the rhythm section. All the way through, in my memory, but that's open for discussion. - The album or the song, or both, is most likely called Harleylujah. - The band probably consists of bikers. That's about all I remember. I heard the song once, and I wanna try and find it to hear if it's actually as good as I remember it... Probably not. It's entirely possible it was a very local Dutch band. Anyway, I'm expecting to come up empty here as well. As you might expect, the pun is so obvious Google isn't much help either. I've already established it's not Zillentaler, Highlander, or Ohrenfeindt. And frankly, if it was any one of them, I appear to be over it after all.
Maybe one of these? https://www.houstonpress.com/music/whos-vroomin-who-top-10-songs-with-motorcycle-sounds-6772399
Not Harley Davidsons or even motorcycles, but of course what immediately comes to mind is Poundcake with the electric drill (obviously you know that one), and Lumberjack by Jackyl, using a chainsaw as a 'musical instrument'. Man, what a virtuoso performance! I think at one point he got 3 notes out of it!! And those chain bends! Amazing! I just can't figure out the alternative tuning he's using, or what kind of chain. It must be extra slinky.
It's one of the songs that if it starts playing in the car, I'll be home fifteen minutes early. Oh, man! I haven't heard this one since I was in high school, probably. Incidentally, also the type of strings Eddie used on Poundcake.
