Harry Biscuit (anyone get this reference?)

please tell me i'm not the only one

 

Though I had to look it up (left side of the pond and all that) the source for this is only a few years ago. I can't imagine that there would be no recollections.

 

even on the right side of the pond i am yet to find anyone else who knows the name.

 

A quick search shows Harry Biscuit as a character in a radio comedy Bleak Expectations, based on Charles Dickens Bleak House and Great Expectations. Cannot tell you any more than that as I have never heard of it before. Wikipedia does mention that its humor is along the lines of The Goon Show which I am familiar with. Now if they have anything like Blue Bottle then I would be interested in listening to it.

 

i looked up and apparently harry biscuit is a hero who help two kids to flee a boarding school. maybe?.

 

I read it and thought "I've heard that name somewhere" but that was it.

 

Not really no, although Harry isn't much removed from Eccles
