    Death been done to death. Huh. Perhaps, though its as natural as life so I don't have a problem with it. Unless its just murder porn, then its annoying.

    Children's books tend to not have death in them...well, sometimes.

    If death has "been done to death" then I'm screwed. One of my WIPs involves multiple deaths regarding the same character; the story actually hinges on these deaths. I think death is fine in stories as long as it serves a purpose (a character being annoying counts).
