Hi! I'm Chris or Jomm, whichever you prefer. I've been writing since I was a little guy, when my best friend showed me the joys of creating my own adventures. I've got a manuscript that I'm currently polishing up (it's 110K words that I'm trying to get below 100K so if you have any suggestions I'm all ears!) I just really want to surround myself with like-minded people. This has been a hobby of mine that I've kept a secret from most of the people in my life, and I found that to be very isolating. Welcome to the forum! Explore and participate! Oh, and one thing that might help you to decide what to cut out is to give the manuscript for other people to read. They can point out scenes that may be superfluous or bits where the scene possibly drags on and could be tightened up. -Kat
