Hello, my name is Tony. I came here mostly d[ue to the fact that I like to create things and writing is one thing that I have come to enjoy(although I don't read much for books because of quite a few things) Most of my time is spent on the internet, researching interests. Thinking on what I want to do in the future. As I have lots of interests. Which may help me if I ever choose writing as a full time thing. Right now I am preparing for my GED. I never was a straight A student but I think I am pretty damn smart. I have no high thoughts for our education system because I think it is really failing to help kids learn. I have cone dystrophe so special education is a concern with me, and I think with all the potential we have, we have failed. Instead we concentrate on Basketball and whatnot, no matter how much a team fails. I'd consider myself an atheist but I do find topics of religion interesting in most cases. Especially in a historical way. Politically I really don't know what to call myself. My parents are republicans but I think they are a lot more on the right compared to me. Oh and just so you know. It isn't just you. I hate everybody the same. Or do I?
Hello Tony, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well! As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!
Thanks, and actually I find it making more sense to review other stuff first.(even though I am not one who reads much books[My eyesight makes it a little hard to read much unless it's on the internet which is more comfortable]) I think that is a good rule to have. Keeps things a little more orderly.
Welcome to WF.org I hope that you have a most wonderful and pleasant time here with all of us. Torana
