As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Welcome to the site. I am married with 2 grown sons a daughter in law and 3 grandchildren. My family is my life. I have always told stories but a few years ago I started writing them down to send to my grandson. Now I have 3 grandchildren one is a girl of 3 in a week so I am now writing stories geared to little girls as well. As long as you enjoy writing there is always spell checker and grammar programs. I know that because they always pop up and tell me I am wrong. It helps a lot. So sit and type and have fun. The older you get the more fun you can have because people expect us old ones to be a bit nuts. again welcome.
