I've just finished a creative writing module with the OU and it has fired my enthusiasm for writing short stories. I retired a few years ago from the IT world and decided it is time to realise my youthful ambitions. It's never too late until they hammer the last nail into the box. Actually even then I might have a few minutes before they fire up the burners.

I Graham, I only joined yesterday - hello from another newbie. Judging by your post I'm guessing you're an older gentleman? I love it when people in your age group get writing...Because they have more tales to tell.
Thank you for your welcomes. This forum will take quite a bit of getting used to - the sheer volume of members and posts for a start. Then I will obviously have to find a suitable famous celebrity icon. In the meantime I had better get on my with my twenty qualifying posts.
