I guess this is the area I get to tell you my name and brag about myself endlessly, well why not, it's not like I can do this anywhere else, so here goes... My name is Jon Bryans and I am a writer... yeah, like we haven't heard that before - aren't we all writers is one form or another. I started in the industry working for a few of the large toy companies developing properties and character studies. From there, I moved into comics where I was first published in late 2002, early 2003. From there, I moved into animation, where I have worked since 2003. Today I am an animation coordinator for a studio. I have also written three animated screenplays, all of which have been optioned. One is in active development, its all about the funding, but we now have that and are moving ahead. I am married, with two wonderful children. A daughter who is 9 and a son who is 6. Life is good and getting better all the time. So that's about it for me. Thanks for having me here, I look forward to having the opportunity to speak with many of you in the future. Sincerely Jon

Hello Jon, Welcome to the Writing Forums. If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners. Remember to check out our FAQ as well! As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room forums on this site, therefore, are true workshops, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work (and on that note, please only post each item for review in one Review Room forum). See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information. Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!
Welcome to the forum (albeit a belated welcome), I hope that you find what you're looking for here and congratulations with the screenplays
